Red Truck Beer Releases $100 Six Pack
Red Truck Beer Company promotes their summer concert series with a $100 six pack and a $35 pint
Every summer, Red Truck Beer hosts their annual Truck Stop Concert Series, a series of community concerts held in the parking lot of their brewery.
To promote the event this year, the Vancouver brewery released the $100 Six Pack.
Yes, it actually costs $100. But the thing is, absolutely nothing about the classic beer has changed. Instead, every $100 Six Pack comes with a four-pack of tickets to the concert series.
Along with the $100 Six Pack, you can visit Red Truck’s tasting room for the cold & refreshing $35 Pint – a beer plus a single ticket to the show.
Red Truck enlisted the help of well-known BC illustrator Tom Froese for the custom packaging. His original artwork can also be seen throughout the Truck Stop, in the form of posters and various other print pieces spread around the tasting room.
The final show of the Truck Stop Concert Series hits the parking lot on August 12th, headlined by American soul artist Lee Fields & the Expressions. Concert-goers will also see The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, The Jay Vons, Vince Vaccaro, The Real Ponchos and Year of the Wolf.
Despite the humble-sounding nature of a “parking lot show”, Red Truck expects Saturday’s sold out show will see around 1,500 attendees.
The headliners for the previous two shows were Australia’s electropop favourites, Cut Copy and American country music group, Drake & The Big Fire.
