Hearthstone Brewery Cool Hand Cuke Cucumber Sour 2017 CanHearthstone Brewery – Cool Hand Cuke Cucumber Sour Ale 2017 Review

Hearthstone Brewery brought back their popular Cool Hand Cuke Cucumber Sour in time for summer.  This is a review of the 2017 release, and the review of last year’s release can be found here.  The 2017 version of Cool Hand Cuke pours from the 355mL can a clear amber colour with one finger of white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing.  The aroma is of pineapple, tropical fruit, citrus, and a light cucumber note to bring it all together.  In the mouth, the flavour is of cucumber up front followed by grains, berry, citrus and green apples.  Cool Hand Cuke is quite light in the mouth with a subtle and approachable tartness that is the perfect accompaniment to any summertime patio.

Alcohol – 4.0%
IBU – 00
Size – 355mL
