Central City Brewing – Hopping Mad Mosaic Hop Craft Cider Review

A follow up to Central City Brewing’s popular Hopping Mad hopped apple cider comes the Mosaic Hopped version.  The cider pours from the bomber bottle a clear straw colour with two fingers of off-white head that dissipates very quickly.  The aroma is strongly of ruby red grapefruit, sweet apples, mangoes, and other tropical fruits.  In the mouth, flavours of grapefruit, lemon and pinapple are most prominent, followed by citrus pith and sour applie.  Light in body as expected for a cider, Hopping Mad Mosaic is not as effervescent as expected but is nonetheless very refreshing.
