Strange Fellows Modern Times Collaboration Strange Times for Modern Fellows Review
To celebrate Modern Times Beer coming up to Canada, Strange Fellows Brewing and Modern Times Beer from San Diego collaborated on this Saison, aptly named Strange Times for Modern Fellows. The beer pours from the 750mL bottle a cloudy straw colour with two fingers of white head that leaves some lacing on the side of the glass. The aroma is initially of yeast, but followed closely by notes of pineapple, lemons, and apples. In the mouth the beer is funky with a wheaty flavour that compliments a lemony tartness. A pithy bitterness makes itself known and then seems to overpower the other flavours. Light in the mouth, Strange Times for Modern Fellows is an easy to drink, crisp saison and a welcome collaboration from these two great breweries.
