Cannery Brewing – Trellis India Pale Ale Review
Cannery Brewing has updated their core lineup with this new IPA. The beer pours fromt the bomber bottle a clear copper colour with two fingers of slowly-dissipating head that leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. The aroma is of pine up front, as well as biscuit malts, and very strong earthy tones, with some herbal and woody notes for good measure. The flavour is of toasted bread, resin and earth, along with some spicy hop flavours such as pepper and coriander. The beer leaves a mild bitter finish in the mouth and has a hefty body to it. The bitterness seems to linger for quite some time leaving the feeling of dryness in the mouth.
Alcohol – 5.0%
