Sherwood Mountain Pilsner BottleSherwood Mountain Brewing – Coast Mountain Pilsner Review

Sherwood Mountain Brewing has gone with the help of a traditional German brewmaster to achieve this classic result.  The beer pours from the bomber bottle a light straw colour with three fingers of white head that is very slow to dissipate and leaves behind plenty of lacing.  Strong aromas of cereal grains and fresh bread dominate the nose with a slight hint of grass and herbal tones.  The flavour presents a surprisingly complex malt profile with some grain, bready, and crusty malt notes.  In the mouth the beer offers a very nice weight that is light but present.  Bitterness arrives late but lingers with a medium-dry finish.
