Central City Brewing – Hopping Mad Cider Radler Review
With summer just around the corner many of us are searching for that ideal patio refresher. If you are a cider lover then Central City’s Hopping Mad Cider Radler may be just what you’re looking for. The Radler pours from the 473mL can a cloudy pastel orange with next to no head but with lingering effervescence. Aromas of grapefruit pith, apples and a hint of grape must emanate from the glass. In the mouth the flavour is very balanced between the sweetness of the apple cider and the sour of the grapefruit juice. The apple cider gives the Radler more sweetness than expected while the grapefruit adds a nice round bitterness to the finish, almost like biting into a fresh, ruby-red segment. This bitterness quickly goes away leaving a clean taste in the mouth. As far as refreshing hot-weather beverages go, the Hopping Mad Cider Radler is sure to top many lists this summer.
Alcohol – 4.2%
