Deep Cove Brewers – Tin Can Pale Ale Review
In the new, Deep Cove themed beers from Deep Cove Brewers comes the Tin Can Pale Ale. Named after the buoy that guards the entrance of the cove this beer pours from the bottle a caramel-amber colour with two fingers’ worth of head settling on top. An aroma of light pine, caramel and citrus comes in on the nose in a balanced, lightly bitter way. Tasting the beer a crisp body makes way for a big citrus flavour experience. The citrus notes are bigger on the flavour than the nose with some pine, tropical fruit tones, mild malt tones coming in along side a light, caramel sweetness. The Tin Can is a very enjoyable, big flavoured, refreshing Pale Ale that should be in the fridge of anyone looking for a cold one on a war summer’s day.
