Beer Me BC Presents Drink In The Story with Victoria Beer Week
BC Craft Beer is a winding narrative of stories that has captured the minds and palates of British Columbia. Each brewery, each beer and each person has a story to tell about their journey in getting to the time and place of that moment. To celebrate the unique and diverse stories of craft beer, Victoria Beer Week and Beer Me BC are proud to present the 2016 Drink In The Story event at the Drake Eatery in Victoria BC on March 8th, 2016.
March 8th is not only event day, it is also International Women’s Day which is the perfect excuse to celebrate the influence of women in BC craft beer. At the second annual Drink In The Story event Julia Hanlon from Steamworks Brewing, Karen Kuzyk of Category 12 Brewing and Chloe Smith of Townsite Brewing will come together to tell their personal accounts of struggle and achievement. They will tell the story of their inspiration, frustration, education and craft from a woman’s perspective in a male-dominated industry.
In 2015 attendees raved about Drink In The Story and 2016 will likely be even better. If you would like to attend this year’s event tickets are $35 and include 3 food and beer samples. The event is likely to sell out quick so purchase your tickets today before it is too late!
