BC Tree Fruits Cider Co. – Broken Ladder Premium Craft Cider
The BC Tree Fruits Cider Company (also known as the BCTF) is brand new to the craft cider scene. Sure to be a hit with teachers across the province this craft apple cider is called the Broken Ladder and from the tall 473ml cans pours a nearly clear, slightly yellowish hue. For a brief moment after pouring a small amount of head lingers before dissipating without a trace. A champagne like, slightly odd aroma comes through from what appears to be a rather dry, mildly sour cider product. The flavour is bubbly on the tongue with a light sweetness in the front along side a fairly juice-like body. As the slightly sour bubbly sensation dwindles a tad more sweetness comes into the mix for a refreshing, somewhat granny-smith like overall flavour. Made with BC grown apples the BC Tree Fruits Cider company has made a truly British Columbia craft cider that will surely find a place in fridges and coolers in the summer to come.
