Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks – Shiva Session White IPA Review
Fuggles & Warlock have done it again brewing up the Shiva, a Session White IPA. Brewed at the Dead Frog Brewery this White IPA has a mystical label and pours from the bottle as a golden-straw colour topped with nearly three fingers of lacing head. From the beer comes a light and crisp, citrus aroma with an orange peel and coriander wheatiness to it. The smell is light and crisp, yet features a delicious and citrus, northwest hop. The flavour is reasonably light bodied with big citrus notes, light tropical fruit and a light wheat tone. A bitterness builds with the wheat flavour as the tasting progresses leaving a rather bitter, hoppy finish. The Shiva is Sessionable but remains a hoppy, and big flavoured white IPA.
