Green leaf Brewing Co. – Lloyd’s Lager Review
Green Leaf Brewing Company has entered the Lager side of craft Beer. Introducing the Lloyd’s Lager this is the first cool-fermented beer in the North Vancouver brewed lineup of beer. Available in both bomber bottles, and now 473ml cans, this beer pours as a light, golden colour topped with two fingers of quickly settling head. The can comes in at 4.8% alcohol while the bottle is 4.6%. The discrepency is a difference in batch and the colour will also show a slight difference. As the head settles without a trace a malty-citrus aroma comes through in a smooth and very sessionable manner. The flavour is light and crisp with a smooth and sessionable body. light citrus flavour of lemon and orange come through in a fresh and crisp, summery flavour. The Lloyd’s Lager is an easy drinking, smooth Bavarian Lager that is screaming to be enjoyed in the warmer months ahead.
