Off the Rail Brewing Company is East Vancouver’s Newest Craft Brewery
East Vancouver has a new hoppy resident on that calls themselves Off the Rail. A new brewery has opened up on Adanac Street just across from Bomber Brewing. Off The Rail Brewing Company is officially open for business.
Upon opening, this small craft brewery boasted an impressive 12 beers on tap. Popularity soon remidied this large number of choices but a solid 6 beers remained pouring when Beer Me BC stopped in for a taste. The quaint, well lit tasting room offers a certain homeliness to it where it is easy to make friends and converse with those sharing the joy of BC craft beer. If you are peckish there is also a variety of salty snacks available while you taste.
Upon opening, the coveted BC lounge licence still allures the Off The Rail Facility so tasters are limited to a maximum of 12oz per visit. The check is in the mail though so soon a full licence will allow you to sample the full array of flavours upon every visit. If you are looking to enjoy today, do not fret, you will simply need to fill a growler (or six) to bring home and enjoy the array of flavours with friends.
Traditional BC craft beer flavour is the focus for this new Vancouver brewery. Not looking to reinvent the wheel, a passion for flavour and purity drives the brewing process. Creativity is melded with tradition to make both unique and sessionable beers that all can enjoy.
The best way to experience Off The Rail Brewing Company is to stop by and say hello for yourself. You will find this gem of a craft brewery at 1351 Adanac Ave in East Vancouver. Stop in, have a glass, fill a growler and tell them that Beer Me BC sent you!
Stopping by a few days after they opened their doors I was quite pleased with their beer selection. I hoped for some more North West style IPA’s but I still quite liked their IPA’s they had on offer. Both Steve and Trigger are super friendly and I look forward to spending many an afternoon at the brewery enjoying a glass or three while I fill up a growler or 2. I am glad to see that you were able to get out and visit the brewery!
