Bomber Brewing Co. – Choqulette Porter Review
Just in time for the cool evenings of fall the Bomber Brewing Company has brewed up the Choqlette Chocolate Porter for a creamy and warm, winter brew. This beer pours a very dark, brown colour with two fingers of thick, dense and lacing head. From this thick top comes an aroma of toasted malt and bitter-sweet chocolate. The toasted malt adds nicely to the cocoa tones with a subtle sweetness laced into the mix. From here the flavour starts off relatively light with toasted malt building into a chocolate body. Without much of a sweetness the chocolate bitterness and a smooth, slightly creamy texture envelopes the mouth in a delicious and powerful, yet light package. This is not a heavy beer but it comes with a whollop of flavour that is refined, delicate and delicious. For a beer that is light on the tongue but big on bitter-sweet chocolate flavour this here is a beer for you!
