One of the breweries to open their doors in early 2014 was Bomber Brewing and the IPA is something that people have been talking about ever since. Shortly after the grand opening these cans started showing up in BC liquor stores as well as private locations. Sold in 6-packs or mixed 12-packs the IPA is surely a future BC brewery favourite. This beer pours a very light amber colour which is topped with two fingers of lightly lacing head. Through this dense top comes a hop bitterness along side fruit tones of mango and passion fruit. The bitterness is not as strong as you may expect making way for the fruit tones, a caramel sweetness and even some malt tones to shine brighter than expected. The flavour is not of a typical West Coast IPA, the style is more of a floral, English IPA than the west coast that you may expect. This comes with a strong hop bitterness in the finish, mid-weight body and some nice malt flavours in their for kicks.
