The Green Leaf Brewing Company is entering the BC craft beer scene just in time for the holiday season. Situated in North Vancouver’s Lonsdale Quay this conveniently located brewery will open its doors for business on Friday December 20th. Brewery owner Martin Ebadi has been working day and night for months to complete this ambitious project and the brewery doors are now ready to open.
Joining the community of Lower Lonsdale, Green Leaf is focusing on the local, fresh and environmental aspects of brewing craft beer. The brewing equipment has been designed for industry leading heat reclamation, efficiency and of course quality craft beer. Pouring from the taps of this new BC craft brewery on opening day will be a dry-hopped pale ale and a smooth and chocolatey stout. Both big and flavourful beers offer the quality that we have come to expect from our local BC brewers but also a unique profile that will help to separate Green Leaf from those around them.
The conveniently located brewery within North Vancouver’s Lonsdale Quay sees great potential from the local community. Looking to provide beer to local restaurants and pubs along with direct growler sales from the brewery itself the immediate area around the Quay is low lying fruit in tapping the growing market for craft beer. The people of North Vancouver appreciate the value of local and fresh products and this will be a driving factor for the brewery’s business. The open-market style of the Quay will help to drive consumers to the brewery buying craft beer much like fruits or meats from neighbouring sellers. Additionally, the walk by traffic from the popular bus loop and Seabus traffic put Green Leaf in an excellent position to sell beer to the local community.
