Powell St. Brewery – Dive Bomb Porter Review
The Dive Bomb porter is another tasty beer from the Powell Street Brewery with a great looking label. Clad with the well known crow of Vancouver BC this beer pours a deep brown colour with two fingers of head. The smell is strong of toasted malt and a chocolate sweetness. The taste is similar to the smell being easy drinking with notes of chocolate coming through the malt base. A slight sourness pairs with a mild hop bitterness in the finish making for a smooth and traditional Porter. Another great tasting beer from the team at Powell Street, head over to the brewery and grab a beer or three for your evening.

I agree totally with your review except that I sure did not taste any sourness.
Absolutely amazing. My favorite brew from Powel St. I disagree with the site review though, I don’t taste any sourness. The toasted malts and mild hop flavour make for one of the most smooth and best tasting porters I’ve ever had.
Interesting…. I will have to pick up another bottle of this beer. Perhaps the one I had was off. Overall I liked it but there was a slightly odd sourness to it?
Thanks for the feedback. This review will be looked at again soon!
