Steamworks Brewing Co. – Oatmeal Stout Review

The Steamworks Oatmeal Stout pours a midnight black colour with a thin finger of head. The smell is thick like oatmeal with notes of chocolate malt. The flavour starts with a crisp malt quickly building into a chocolatey, thick stout flavour explosion. This beer is thick and flavourful but remains contrastively light and drinkable. The Steamworks Oatmeal Stout is complex, drinkable and most importantly quite delicious.
