The Russell Black Death Porter is Dark, showing deep brown tinges of light barely making its way through the beer filled glass. A head topps the glass approximately two fingers thick which leaves significant lacing on its sides. Coming through the head is an aroma that has notes of caramel and toasted malts. The flavour is relatively mild with a touch of nut and creamy chocolate accompanying the malt, lightly sweet body.
