R&B Brewing Co – Oatmeal Stout Review

If you were going to have a beer for breakfast this would be a good choice. It tastes thick, creamy and it drinks like a meal. With a distinct coffee flavour and touches of chocolate this has an inherent sweetness but is not overpowering. The hop-count runs in at a modest 18 IBU coming in on the malty side of things. While this may not be an every-day drinker the flavour is good and it soothes the taste buds with its smoothness. This bias reviewer may not always give a stout the most astute chance, this is actually quite a nice beer.
