Bowen Island Brewing – Hemp Blonde Ale Review

The Bowen Island Hemp Blonde Ale is not your typical blonde. In fact you could almost call her a bottle blonde. A light crisp front disguises the caramel roots. A lingering sweetness shines through the finish. I wouldn’t go so far as to describe it as amber but the blonde name stops short of this beers true colours. A light hop carries throughout the beer and the hemp adds some uniqueness to the flavour profile. This may not be an every-day drinker but has some great flavour
