Moon Under Water Brewing Co. – Brewvic Maibock Review

The Brewvic Maibock is a Bock style lager from the Moon Under Water Brewpub in Victoria BC. This amber coloured beer pours with two fingers of head and smells of lightly toasted malts, a touch of sweetness and the faintest of german hops. Tasting this bock the Brewvic has a slightly oily texture and the flavour profile contains German style hops, strong malt notes and poses as a tribute to a traditional style bock. There is a slight booze flavour that comes into play but overall this is an easy drinking and fairly mellow Bock. Give it a try for yourself!
