Spinnakers Brewing Co. – Original Pale Ale Review

The Spinnakers Original pale ale is a golden-straw colour and is slightly opaque with two fingers of head. The head wafts a citrus, lightly hopped aroma that has a touch of coriander to it. The flavour is not of a typical Pale Ale. This is lightly sweetened with the slightest of European style hops. The citrus notes take charge with orange and lemon flavours coming through strong. A mild spice joins the other flavours to make for a rather wheat-like ale that does resemble many other beers similarly categorized.
