Howe Sound Brewing Co. – Howe Sound Lager Review

The Howe Sound Lager is a cloudy golden-amber colour. The taste is smooth with a light nuttiness and a touch of sweetness and what could almost be pineapple (but probably isn’t). The sweetness seems natural but a touch on the excessive side for the categorization of a lager. This beer is easy to drink and overall quite mellow. The palate ends in a sweetened maltyness and a minimum of hop tones. Going down smooth this is refreshing but has a little more to it than your typical lager.

Alcohol – 5.5%

Easily the best lager on the market. Nice review, but could be higher.
